Born and raised in South Texas, Diego’s passion for the outdoors and fishing began at a young age. While attending Texas State, he discovered a deep passion for fly fishing and committed fully to building a career around it.

Since then, Diego has guided anglers across the Texas Coast, Puerto Rico, and the legendary waters of Magdalena Bay. His goal on every trip is simple: work hard to create an unforgettable experience — putting clients on fish while also teaching them about the fishery and how to become better anglers.

Diego is known for being passionate, hardworking, patient, and easy-going on the water. Whether someone is brand new to saltwater fly fishing or looking to sharpen their skills, he takes pride in creating a positive, relaxed environment where clients can learn, have fun, and enjoy a true premier sight-fishing experience.
